Product Description
Solaray Zinc Copper by Solaray combines two essential trace minerals for natural antioxidant support and support for lipoprotein and cholesterol levels. Zinc and copper share similar functions in the body, with both minerals being required to produce the important antioxidant superoxide dismutase.
An appropriate zinc to copper ratio is important to support healthy lipoprotein and cholesterol levels. In addition, zinc may help support the immune system, with copper playing an important role in maintaining heart, brain, and bone health. This formula also contains kelp for iodine, which is an essential nutrient for proper thyroid function.
Unlike many amino acid chelate supplements which are derived from soy, yeast, or milk, the zinc and copper amino acid chelates used in this formula are derived from whole rice concentrate.
